ABOUT US

Hippocrates, also known at the father of medicine, was a Greek physician born in 460 BC.

He believed in the healing powers of nature and that disease was best treated with rest, a good diet, fresh air and cleanliness. One of his most famous sayings was, "Let thy food be thy medicine and thy medicine be thy food."

It was on this principle of using diet as a means to not only prevent disease, but to cure it as well, that this Web Journal, named after the great Greek physician, was created.

Hippocrates, the publication, officially made it's debut on the Web in July, 2005.

Enjoy!
